View an in-progress excerpt from DaEun Jung’s residency project, the ‘Earthian Folk Dance,’ and contribute your own movement to the development of the EFD movement vocabulary. Earthian Folk Dance is a communal activity created and performed by Earthians (the people who live on this planet, irrespective of nation and culture.) This project arose from DaEun Jung’s ongoing investigation into the principles and methods of Korean folk dance and the potential physical reconciliation between participants of diverse backgrounds. EFD celebrates team spirit and bodily exhilaration, and challenges the tropes of both post-modern choreography and traditional folk dance.
