La Galerie XII a le plaisir d'annoncer la premi\u00e8re exposition des photographies de Joey Tranchina sur Los Angeles, ville qu'il a d\u00e9couverte dans sa jeunesse : \u201cJohnny Weismuller Jr, fils d'un athl\u00e8te et acteur c\u00e9l\u00e8bre, tra\u00eenait simplement avec des amis, une familiarit\u00e9 \u00e9trang\u00e8re \u00e0 un gamin en jeans coup\u00e9s ; je n'avais pas l'impression d'\u00eatre tomb\u00e9 de l'arri\u00e8re d'un camion de navets, mais je ne m'int\u00e9grais pas vraiment non plus. Sentant mon malaise, John m'a regard\u00e9 et a ri : \u2019Joey, Joey... c'est Los Angeles, tu peux \u00eatre qui tu veux \u00e0 Los Angeles. Vas-y. Vas-y ! Descends sur le sable dur et marche sur les mains... va aussi loin que tu peux\u201c. Avec la pouss\u00e9e d'exaltation vertigineuse que cela produisait, je me sentais presque \u00e0 ma place \u00e0 Los Angeles - un sentiment que je n'ai pas oubli\u00e9 en 50 ans.\u201d Joey Tranchina<\/p>\n
