La bG Gallery organise une r\u00e9ception d'ouverture le samedi 5 novembre pour \u201cNOWHEREWORLDS\u201d, un voyage avec l'artiste Jim Holyoak dans des territoires qui se situent aux fronti\u00e8res du r\u00e9el et du fantasmagorique. Dans NOWHEREWORLDS, Holyoak documente le paysage imaginaire surr\u00e9aliste que ses voyages ont inspir\u00e9, explorant les limbes entre la fantaisie, la perception, les r\u00eaves, la m\u00e9moire et l'imagination.
\nJim Holyoak est un artiste\/\u00e9crivain bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al qui se sp\u00e9cialise dans les dessins-installations. Il a obtenu un baccalaur\u00e9at en beaux-arts de l'Universit\u00e9 de Victoria, une ma\u00eetrise en beaux-arts de l'Universit\u00e9 Concordia et a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 en tant qu'apprenti aupr\u00e8s du ma\u00eetre peintre \u00e0 l'encre Shen Ling Xiang, \u00e0 Yangshuo, en Chine. De 2012 \u00e0 2013, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 professeur de dessin au Sheridan College. Il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des r\u00e9sidences d'artistes \u00e0 New York, Los Angeles, Banff, en Finlande, en Su\u00e8de, en Islande, aux Pays-Bas, en Inde et dans toute la Norv\u00e8ge.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
