The fourth annual Americana in the Park series returns, offering a wide range of Americana music on Sundays at Gandara Park, 1819 Stewart St.<\/p>\n

A partnership with Santa Monica\u2019s own McCabe\u2019s Guitar Shop, this year’s concerts will explore Americana music from its roots to modern forms, featuring a youth mariachi band, a community sing-along, high energy instrumentals along with craft activities for all ages and food trucks.<\/b><\/p>\n

September 1:<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0Sing-along free-for-all with McCabe\u2019s Hootenanny Collective opens with\u00a0Dustbowl Revival<\/a>\u00a0headlining with booty shaking soul roots music and cut-to-heart folk-rock ballads.<\/p>\n

September 8:<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0Local group\u00a0Mariachi Los Catrines<\/a>\u00a0opens with\u00a0Los Straitjackets<\/a>\u00a0headlining with high energy instrumental guitar rock and roll from around the world.<\/p>\n

September 15: <\/strong><\/b>Guitarists and songwriters\u00a0Rick Shea & Tony Gilkyson<\/a>\u00a0open with Southern California band\u00a0Mustangs of the West<\/a>\u00a0headlining with all styles of country music.<\/p>\n

September 22:<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0Molly Miller Trio<\/a>\u00a0opens with instrumental Americana jazz songs tinged with folk and Surf Rock vibes along with powerful original compositions of\u00a0The Azar Lawrence Experience<\/a>\u00a0headlining.<\/p>\n

September 29:<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0Solo acoustic guitar fusion of folk, jazz, blues, pop and classical styles of the\u00a0Laurence Juber<\/a>\u00a0opens and\u00a0Airfoil<\/a>\u00a0headlines with the rocking side of Wings\u2019 great repertoire.<\/p>\n

LOCATION\u00a0Gandara Park<\/a>\u00a0is located at\u00a01819 Stewart St.<\/a>\u00a0Gandara Park amenities include a children\u2019s playground, restrooms, and limited accessible parking. Alternative transportation is encouraged.<\/p>\n

BIKE PARKING & SHARED MOBILITY Ride your bike or take an e-bike or e-scooter to the concerts. Bike racks will be available for bike parking starting at 3 p.m. in the Gandara Park lot, 1819 Stewart St.<\/p>\n

BIG BLUE BUS Ride\u00a0Big Blue Bus<\/a>\u00a0Route 5 to the concerts and get off at Stewart St. coming from either direction. A roundtrip fare is $2.50 \u2013 go cashless and download the mobile ticketing app from\u00a0Token Transit<\/a>. Plan your trip on Big Blue Bus.<\/p>\n

EXPO LINE Gandara Park is an eight-minute walk from the 26th Street\/Bergamot Expo Line Station. Walk east on Olympic Blvd. and turn right on Stewart St. to reach the park. Plan your trip on\u00a0Metro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ACCESSIBILITY A limited number of parking spots will be reserved for accessible parking in the Gandara Park lot and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Vehicles must have a government-issued accessible parking license plate, placard, hangtag, or sticker. The entrance to the park\u2019s parking lot will serve as a drop-off location. A parking attendant will be staffing the lot. The park and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. For those using a wheeled mobility device, the walking or bike paths can be used to traverse the park. To view the concert, travel over grass will be required. The ground can be uneven in some areas of the park.
