Transit Dances

Transit Dances presents dance at sites close to 3 stops on the Metro Expo Line. Audiences will travel from the 26th St./Bergamot station to the 17th St. station and conclude at the 4th St. station. At each stop, tour guides will take audience members to a site where a dance will be performed by a diverse group of Southern California companies, and then audiences will hop back on the Metro to the next stop for the next performance. Audience members can also go to any individual performance if they choose not to do the entire tour. A map of the performance sites is on our website: dsdancers.com. The rich multicultural fabric of the Los Angeles area will be on display with dances by Juli Kim (Korea); INCA, The Peruvian Ensemble; Kayamanan Ng Lahi (Phillipines), Wilfried Souly (Africa) and Donna Sternberg & Dancers (contemporary American).
