Gears & Galleries Bike Tour

Join 18th Street Arts Center for an exciting afternoon of exploration and art appreciation with our Gears & Galleries Bike Tour! This “no drop” ride is suitable for all skill levels, and no rider will be left behind as we pedal through the vibrant arts scene of Santa Monica.

We’ll be embarking on a scenic 10.1-mile round trip bike ride, stopping at art galleries along the way. Our route includes visits to LA Louver, Adler/Smith, and Bergamot Station, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore captivating exhibitions featuring works by Richard Diebenkorn, Sandow Birk, Paolo Ventura, William Eggleston, and more.

Be sure to bring water, helmets, and lights for safety, as well as any tools and tubes you may need for minor bike repairs. Parking is available at the Olympic campus, or you can easily reach us via Metro, with the 17th St/SMC station just half a block away.

Don’t have a bike? No problem! Metro Bike Share is available at the 17th St/SMC station, offering a convenient option for participants without their own bicycles.
