Traveling Through Time: Celebrating 150 Years of Santa Monica

Join us on Sunday, December 7, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. outside of the Main Street Visitor Information Center at 2427 Main Street for Traveling Through Time: Celebrating 150 Years of Santa Monica, a free, community event honoring the city’s rich history and vibrant future.

Hosted during the annual Miracle on Main Street, this special gathering will center around the creation of a digital living time capsule honoring Santa Monica’s historic 150th anniversary. Stop by with your photos, written stories, personal items and short video reflections that capture your cherished memories across decades, cultures and neighborhoods. Memories will be digitally sealed and reopened in 15 years, offering our future generations a look back at Santa Monica’s enduring spirit.
