As the Los Angeles Dodgers prepare to take the field for the 2025 World Series, Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM) and the City of Santa Monica are hosting a first-ever “Catch the Blue Wave” Pep Rally in support of the LA Dodgers on Thursday, October 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the Third Street Promenade (1300 block) — transforming the heart of the Westside into a sea of Dodger blue and fan pride.
This high-energy rally will feature:
- Former LA Dodger Players Adrian Gonzalez, Eric Karros and Steve Garvey signing autographs and taking photos with fans
- The Dodgers Bobble character will be posing for photos with fans and cheering the Dodgers
- Mainstage remarks with special emcees: Jacyln Ruiz and Melisser Myer hosts of the “Talk Dodgers To Me” podcast leading the crowd in Dodgers cheers
- Pali High School Cheer Squad performances
- Official Dodger Cheer Towels given away to the first 500 guests
- Entertainment Zone Beer Activation
- 360° Fan Photo Booth for the perfect “Catch the Blue Wave” moment
- Dodger Ball Installation – an 8-foot-tall baseball for fans to sign and snap photos
The rally also kicks off a week-long celebration throughout Downtown Santa Monica, with special promotions, and giveaways.
