Soundwaves wurde 2016 von dem Bibliothekar, Autor und Musiker Jeff Schwartz zusammen mit dem Komponisten Daniel Rothman ins Leben gerufen und wird von der Santa Monica Public Library, den Friends of the Santa Monica Public Library und der Amphion Foundation finanziert. Soundwaves hat mit Veranstaltern wie dem Angel City Jazz Festival, Microfest, PianoSpheres, Jacaranda Music, dem Dog Star Orchestra Festival, dem Santa Monica Department of Cultural Affairs und Cold Blue Music zusammengearbeitet.<\/p>\n<p>Kommende Shows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6. Januar: The Soapbox - Charles Sharp, Robert Jacobson, Garth Powell und Jeff Schwartz - spielen Kompositionen von Ornette Coleman, mit dem Ehrengast Elliott Levin<\/li>\n<li>3. Februar: Wendy Richman &amp; Tim Feeney<\/li>\n<li>2. M\u00e4rz: Chris Jonas - Musik aus der W\u00fcste<\/li>\n<li>6.
