World Environment Day Sunscreen Swap

On Wednesday, June 5, Shore Hotel will carry out a Sunscreen Swap with Raw Elements und AquaSurf, inviting sunbathers to switch over to reef-friendly sunscreen, limiting the damage to our ocean’s fragile ecosystem. In addition, travelers will be offered the opportunity to sign a petition encouraging the California legislature to introduce a bill banning reef-harming sunscreens in the state, similar to the legislation that has been passed in Hawaii, Key West, Florida, and other jurisdictions around the world. Throughout June, Shore Hotel will also raise awareness about eco-friendly travel with a social media giveaway – #StandUpForSustainability – for a weekend getaway at the hotel.
