Agua Vida LA

Join us on June 18th for an evening with Isla Urbana benefiting single mothers and children of the Huichol community located in La Laguna, Jalisco, Mexico. Funds raised will assist these families by providing a sustainable source of clean water as well as roofing for their homes. This community often falls into the category of the most marginalized within Mexico. Due to the lack of access to safe water, these single mothers and their children spend much of their day collecting water from rivers resulting in the children missing school and common illnesses from ingesting unsafe water.
Plans for the event include appetizers, performances, vendor tables, a presentation and silent auction followed by dancing. Funds are raised through the Isla Urbana Foundation which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in the U.S. focusing on helping individuals in Mexico dealing with water scarcity. Cocktail Attire requested.
