Hotels offer deep discounts for Santa Monica residents this holiday season
SANTA MONICA, Kalifornien. (November 19, 2025) — Santa Monica Travel & Tourism announces the return of the popular “I Wish I Had an Extra Bedroom” program, helping residents book discounted stays at participating local hotels this holiday and winter season. From November 17, 2025, through February 9, 2026, Santa Monica residents can invite loved ones to experience a stay in the city—or enjoy a relaxing staycation of their own—with exclusive local hotel offers.
“‘I Wish I Had an Extra Bedroom’ continues to be a well-loved opportunity for Santa Monica residents to welcome visiting friends and family or experience our beautiful city as a guest,” said Santa Monica Travel & Tourism. “We are proud to work with local hotel partners to make the season brighter for residents and travelers alike.”
To take advantage of the program, residents must show proof of Santa Monica residency at check-in when booking a stay for themselves or their guests. Special booking instructions and offer details for each hotel are available at santamonica.com/extra-bedroom.
Participating hotels and offers for the 2025–2026 season include:
- The Eden Hotel: 22% off
- Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows: Up to 25% off
- Huntley Santa Monica: Up to 25% off
- Sandbourne Santa Monica: 20% off
- The Sovereign Hotel: 15% off
- Rest Haven Motel: 10% off
