Westside Food Bank’s 27th Annual 5K Hunger Walk

Westside Food Bank’s 27th Annual 5K Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 12 noon to 3pm. Participation is free and includes entertainment, an awards ceremony, a family fun zone with games and activities, raffle prizes, and an awards ceremony. The 5K Walk-a-Thon kicks off at 2pm when hundreds of participants take a leisurely stroll along the beachfront walking path. Participants and “virtual walkers” can set up an individual or team fundraising page and reserve their event tee shirt by registering at www.wsfb.org. There will be a Beach Bash after party at Perry’s Café, 2600 Ocean Front Walk from 3:30-5pm with $25 ticket purchase. All proceeds benefit Westside Food Bank’s efforts to fight hunger in our community. Every dollar raised provides food for four nutritious meals, and nearly half of WSFB’s food goes to children.
