Underwire Comedy: Support the Funny

There appears to be a shortage of female stand-up comedians today, and the ones currently in the spotlight seem to believe their only source of approval is centered around their sexuality or dating life. Inspired by a debate about this lack of creativity, Underwire Comedy was born. The goal is to promote up and coming female stand-up comedians that do not need to resort to the same predictable sexcapades just to get a laugh. Underwire Comedy is hoping to help others discover the next Ellen, Whoopi or Tig. The night will be full of many hilarious ladies, with headliners Erin Foley (Comedy Central Presents) and Jodi Miller (America’s Got Talent).
The all-female producing team of Underwire Comedy also believes in giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Humane Society, the nations largest and most effective animal protection organization. Join us to raise women up in comedy and raise a little money for our furry friends too!
