Author Patricia McClure Book Signing

Chicago Author Patricia M. McClure of “Losing a Hero to Alzheimer’s The Story of Pearl” visits California to continue the purple movement by raising awareness to Alzheimer’s. She will be doing a book signing for her newly released book at Barnes & Noble Santa Monica on Saturday July 30, 2016.
My mom was my role model and hero,” McClure says. “I watched my hero fall prey to the grueling stages of Alzheimer’s. This book will allow the reader to garner some practical standpoints from a family member’s perspective.” From a caregiver’s perspective, McClure acquaints readers with the warning signs and characteristics associated with each stage of Alzheimer’s. She explains the effect the disease can have on the individual, the caregiver and relationships within the family system.
