3rd Annual Playreading Festival #anothernormal

Santa Monica Repertory Theater explores the space of ‘before and after’ the pandemic with our 3rd Annual Playreading Festival, #anothernormal: plays written and directed by women.
This year we are featuring three short plays in conversation with reality as we know it. We are in a culturally juicy place in the U.S., exciting and terrifying, that asks us to really look at what we believe, who we are as individuals and as a society. Are we going to hell-in-a-handbasket, on the verge of major and positive cultural shift, or just in the throes of the human cycle of development?
Is it the same-ole’ same ole, a new normal, or #anothernormal.
