 Day 10: Headed to happy hour with some new friends, the mia tia was to die for!
| |  Day 11: Enjoyed the jazzed up lifeguard towers on the beach, part of the Portraits of Hope Summer of Color
| |  Day 12: In the mood for some cooking, I was lucky enough to meet up with Border Grill chef Susan Feniger

 Day 13: I jumped on the Starline Tour bus for a guided tour of the city. Santa Monica offers so many easy options for getting around town! |
|  Day 14: I used the free Santa Monica Art Trek Map and checked out the many public art exhibits found around town
|
|  Day 15: I tried my hand at a game of chess in Santa Monica’s Chess Park today, wow the competition was intense
|
 Day 16: I headed to Third Street Promenade for some shopping and entertainment and checked out a few street performers |
|  Day 17: I took a ride on the world’s only solar powered Ferris wheel, the Pacific Wheel at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier
|
|  Day 18: Today I took a trip to the Heal the Bay Aquarium at the Santa Monica Pier to find out about the sea life in the Pacific Ocean
|
 Day 19: Continuing on my arts and culture binge, I took in an afternoon of art at the Santa Monica Museum of Art at Bergamot Station |
|  Day 20: Here I am taking a swing on the high-flying trapeze at the Trapeze School, open year-round on the Santa Monica Pier
|
|  Day 21: I tried an afternoon workout at the original muscle beach just south of the Santa Monica Pier
|
 Day 22: I decided to take an afternoon stroll in Downtown Santa Monica with my Santa Monica Conservancy self-guided tour booklet |
|  Day 23: Here I am hanging poolside at The Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Beach
|
|  DAY 24: Here I am catchin an afternoon yoga class at one of the fabulous parks in Santa Monica
|
 Day 25: I picked up an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables at the Farmers' Market in Downtown Santa Monica
|
|  Day 26: I headed over to main st to do a little shopping and check out the edgemar center. There are so many unique shops and restaurants to choose from.

Day 27: Beach volleyball is my favorite sport here in Santa Monica! it's a great way to enjoy the sun. Look at this spike, not too shabby if I say so myself!
|
 Day 28: Here I am putting my "toes on the nose" as I learn to surf with one of many year-round surfing schools in Santa Monica.

Day 29: Here I am dancing the night away at one of the weekly Twilight Dance Series concerts on the Santa Monica Pier

Day 30: Here I am opening day of the Santa Monica Place Mall and with contest winner Alan Toy! Please come say hi
